Hi! I'm Samantha. I have had this course laid out in my head for years. I'm so excited to finally share it with you.
I have worked with many kids over the years that began by refusing to get into the water. They were the ones that taught me most of what I'm about to share with you!
My husband, daughters, dog and I live in Arkansas where we enjoy time outside, mountain biking, and homeschooling.
You pay around $15 for group every 30 minute group swimming lessons (or far more for private lessons and those are EXPENSIVE!). You pack up, drive to the pool, and barely arrive on time. Your kid likes it (maybe) but spends a lot of time at the wall while waiting for everyone to take their turn practicing.
Whenever you go into deeper water, your child holds on super tight and continuously asks, "you're going to hang on, right?!" or "don't let go!" They show fear when it comes to being in places they cannot touch the bottom.
Your kid goes to the pool or creek but stays where it's very shallow, insists on wearing a floatie, and does not attempt to put their face in (like, ever).
Here's what's included:
22 lessons with video and written teaching
Blowing Bubbles (3 lessons)

Back Skills (6 lessons)
Games and Songs (7 lessons)

The videos for each lesson are about 3 minutes long. There is also written content for every lesson.
For the Full Course: Other than a swimsuit, a noodle and something that sink are helpful to have (but not necessary). Some kids will also want goggles but they're not required.
For the Mini Course: Bubbles in a Bowl, you will need a bowl and water.
For the Sample Lesson: The lesson is on Front Float (assisted) and nothing is needed.
Absolutely! It will actually help your child to hear the information more than once (from the video and then from you, the parent. It will also help them to see another child try the skill.
Some of the skills (especially the front and back skills) require a pool or larger body of water.
